Dr. Wendy Gebhart born and raised in Fremont county. She received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois where she graduated with a double major in Biology and Psychology. She attended graduate school at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, receiving a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She moved back to Fremont County with her family and enjoys providing natural health choices to the people of Wyoming.
The National College of Natural Medicine is the oldest accredited naturopathic medical school in North America. The Degree of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) is a four-year graduate program accredited by the council on Naturopathic Medical Education. The Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) is an additional two-year degree and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Both of these accreditation are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
